INSTORE POS TO SUPPORT PRODUCT LAUNCH
Product launch of the New Scholl Perfect Nail Care range. The kits were designed specifically for use in the top 10 Central London Boots stores. The kits included free standing merchandising units, display wraps and hanging banners. The acrylic product ‘Try Me’ display unit & leaflet dispenser was produced specifically as part of the Middle East Launch.

COUNTER DISPLAY UNIT & DROP FEED UNIT
Durex counter unit produced for Middle East markets. The units are injection moulded and stack 3 high, although a stack of units has been seen in Dubai as high as 7. As this unit was an export item, shipping had to be taken into account in the design process (ie. the smaller the box the better). The solution was a unit that packed flat, with minimum parts, which simply and quickly locked together. The unit was very well received and has now been in production for 4 years in large quantities.

FABRICATED UNITS
Not all units are required in high volume. The use of fabricated units can often deliver the quality of an injection moulded unit at considerably less cost. On these occasions, by using a combination of laser or CNC cutting, with diamond polish finishing and hand assembly, a good number of units can be delivered in the same time it would normally take to create the tool alone for a moulded unit.

3-PART FSDU
We were asked by a customer if it was possible to manufacture a card unit that would not only carry boxed stock but if required, have the ability to hold goods on hangers. The image above left, shows the single unit and to the right, the same unit with the additional side pods that can be attached by store staff to carry hanger merchandise to one or both sides of the unit if required.

SCHOLL BIOMECHANICS / MARIGOLD
Left: The Scholl Biomechanics unit is a combination of both card and vacuum forming to create a full size FSDU, that was extremely lightweight and packed flat to lessen cost of shipping.
Centre: Marigold large format pallet wrap. They are an excellent display item. They carry masses of stock and with a simple card wrap, they attract the attention of prospective purchasers.

The 2 units were designed to be low cost with a life expectancy of approximately 2 months. Simple forming based on solid design can make for an impressive cost effective unit and by combining with other material such as card create multi-tiered displays. We have worked for many years in this area and supplied most major grocery chains within the country, plus several worldwide.
